Advisory & Governance
Structuring and stewarding capital across the full spectrum of giving vehicles (charitable, advocacy, and political), guiding each from strategy through oversight.
Coordinated political giving — directed with intent.
The Aegis Initiative links two sides of the same work — raising capital for candidates and causes, and advising the organizations that capital supports.
Since the 2024 cycle, The Aegis Initiative has been the source of $250K+ in direct financial impact toward candidates, causes, and endorsed organizations. Combined with its partners, the Aegis Initiative has helped move nearly $10M in 2026 toward key campaigns and projects, much of it multi-year support built to meet a fast-changing landscape with long-term solutions.
Structuring and stewarding capital across the full spectrum of giving vehicles (charitable, advocacy, and political), guiding each from strategy through oversight.
Organizing peers into coordinated, long-term strategic investment, not one-off gifts, and advising organizations and candidates on engaging the next generation.
Partnering directly with campaigns and committees to support candidates towards election day, into leadership, and through the next cycle.
Vetting and endorsing the organizations and campaigns the Initiative backs, so capital moves with rigor and efficiency.
A private donor-infrastructure project supporting coordinated giving among a small, trusted group of philanthropists, donor advisors, and select partners.
The Aegis Initiative is founded and led by Arthur Hourcade-Hoefliger, in association with the Hourcade-Hoefliger Family Foundation.
